The Council is seeking to appoint a supplier (the "Contractor") Provision of Asbestos Surveying and Sampling Works, to buildings owned by Wirral Borough Council (the "Council") or in which the Council has an interest e.g. Libraries, Leisure Centres, Administration Centres, Industrial Units and Schools etc. within the administrative boundaries of the Council. Further Competition via the Yorkshire Purchasing Organisation (YPO) DPS 880 Building Envelope Services, Category 8 - Inspection Surveying Services including Asbestos Surveys Lot 1: The Council is seeking to appoint a supplier (the "Contractor") Provision of Asbestos Surveying and Sampling Works, to buildings owned by Wirral Borough Council (the "Council") or in which the Council has an interest e.g. Libraries, Leisure Centres, Administration Centres, Industrial Units and Schools etc. within the administrative boundaries of the Council. Elements within this contract includes but not be limited to; Management, Refurbishment and Demolition Asbestos Surveys, Re-inspection Asbestos Surveys, emergency sampling works, planning Analyst/Surveyor works and providing access equipment (Scaffolding). The contract also required a 24 hour call out and 3-hour emergency call out service.
