Hafod Fire Safety Contract

Description

Hafod are seeking to appoint a suitably skilled and experienced contractor(s) to carry out fire safety services and works in Hafod domestic and commercial properties. This requirement covers a number of locations across South Wales including, but not limited to, the below area’s;  Cardiff  Newport  Torfaen  Merthyr Tydfil  Rhondda Cynon Taff  Bridgend  Vale of Glamorgan The primary purpose of the contract will be to provide fire safety services & works across three lots to Hafod in line with the rates and specifications tendered in response to this opportunity. Bidders will be required to submit a fixed schedule of rates to complete the works, to include all preliminary costs with provisional sums clearly identified. Bidders should note that no additional preliminary costs will be paid for any contractor delay(s). Hafods fires safety requirements have been split into three (3) Lots; • LOT 1 - Fire Resisting Door Works • LOT 2 - Fire Compartmentation Works – including Signage and Fire Dampers • LOT 3 - Fire Systems Servicing and Maintenance to include;  Fire Alarm System Maintenance,  Emergency Light Maintenance  Sprinkler Systems Maintenance  Fire Extinguisher Servicing and Replacement, Hose Reels, Fire Blankets and Evacuation Chairs  Smoke Ventilation Servicing  Servicing of Fire Dampers  Wet/Dry Riser Systems Servicing
