Mini Competition under Scotland Excel Framework for the Supply and Delivery of Grounds and Plant Equipment 1522, Lot 1 – Handheld Equipment

South Lanarkshire Council's Grounds Services have a requirement for the Supply and Delivery of Handheld Equipment under the Scotland Excel Framework for the Supply and Delivery of Grounds and Plant Equipment 1522. The Council required to procure a variety of Handheld Equipment from the following lot on the Scotland Excel Framework: Lot 1 – Handheld Equipment In reviewing the Scotland Excel master schedule, it became clear that the requirement should be procured via Mini Competition. The following mini competition was published: SLC/CE/25/123 – Mini Competition under Scotland Excel Framework for the Supply and Delivery of Grounds and Plant Equipment 1522, Lot 1 – Handheld Equipment. It can be confirmed that the format of this mini tender was permitted under the Framework rules. The above Call-Off Contract is for a one-off purchase. Lot 1: Procurement 40 x Echo Hedge Cutter HCR-165ES (or equivalent) 16 x Stihl KM-56 Power Unit with Loop Handle (or equivalent) 47 x Stihl FS411 C-EM Strimmer (or equivalent) 2 x Stihl FS94 Strimmer with Loop Handle (or equivalent) 2 x Stihl Chainsaw MS462 20" (or equivalent) 20 x Stihl BR 350 Backpack Blower (or equivalent) 6 x Stihl HTA135 Battery Operated Pole Saw with Battery & Charger (or equivalent) Tenders were invited on a Price/Quality basis. The following weightings were used to determine the most economically advantageous tender: Quality (Technical): 30% Price (Commercial): 70% South Lanarkshire Council awarded a call-off contract by Mini-Competition under the Scotland Excel Framework per the pre-defined selection procedure under the framework to Fraser C. Robb Limited as they were the Most Economically Advantageous Tender identified and met the Council's requirements. The call-off contract period is a one-off purchase.
