RfT for the provision of an integrated economic time series database and statistical analysis application

Description

1.1 Project Name: Request for Tender for the provision of an integrated economic time series database and statistical analysis application. This is an open public procurement competition. The essential requirements to be met by tenderers are described below and numbered (i) – (vii). (i) Provision of economic and financial data. The data provided must be a comprehensive list of available sources of economic and financial data, including but not limited to releases by the national statistical authorities, Central Banks, international organisations, private sector providers, research institutions etc. The data must be extensive and also relevant to the Irish economy. The data must promptly update to reflect data releases by the various institutions producing the source data. (ii) The service must offer the facility to produce high quality customisable charts and tables. (iii) The service must offer analytical tools to understand data sets and explore relationships between data sets, for example summary statistics, regression analysis and other statistical techniques (iv) The service must offer effective customer support/training. Tenderers should clearly and comprehensively describe the training services they will provide such as: • Provision of training materials including manuals • Training channels used to deliver the Contracting Authority’s training requirements • Other training tools and services • Tenderers should detail any other aspect of their training services outside of that listed above. Please note the Contracting Authority requires any training materials provided to support training to be the property of the Contracting Authority to use on an ongoing basis at no extra cost. (v) Charts should be highly integrated with Microsoft Office, allowing for quick updating as new data is released. (vi) The service must allow users to upload their own datasets. (vii) The service must provide a minimum of four licenses.
