Description

Tenders are sought for the provision of laboratory equipment for the library based makerspace in NUI Galway. The equipment sought in this tender will add capacity to the current makerspace; it will be temporarily located in the Physics while the library at NUI Galway is being re-developed. This tender consists of 3 lots. Tenderers can submit proposal for multiple or individual lots. All lots to be based on robust simple design suitable for multiple users. Lot 2: Lot 2 Precision optical surface profilometer Lot 2 Precision optical surface profilometer Microscope that measures the vertical profile of a surface with nanometres precision at an optical magnification, which is typical of Lot 3: Lot 3 Thin film coating system Lot 3 Thin film coating system A vacuum based thermal evaporation system for metals with integrated metrology and control.
