The municipalities of Frogn, Nesodden, Vestby and Ås, hereafter called the contracting authority, have established a purchasing co-operative with a Joint Purchasing Office — FIK, located in Vestby Municipality. FIK holds joint tender contests on behalf of all the municipalities. The procurement is for five independent framework agreements: Contract 1: ‘Wholesaler products, including frozen products’ (more information in 1.2.1). Contract 2: ‘Fruit and vegetables’. Contract 3: ‘Fresh meat products’. Contract 4: ‘Birds, poultry and egg products’. Contract 5: ‘Bakery and confectionery products’. Contract 6: ‘Internet based groceries’ — subcontract 6 is postponed or completely left out due to the current pandemic situation. The framework agreements will include delivery to all types of user locations in the municipalities, including, amongst others: primary schools, secondary schools, before-and-after-school care, nurseries, old peoples homes, nursing homes and other underlying institutions.
