The fit-out the MRI-suite in the recently completed radiation oncology centre in University Hospital Galway (UHG) located on the first floor. The area is currently shelled out, but the works comprise the provision of an MRI exam room and associated accommodation including a control room, an equipment room, patient interview room, trolley bay, an all-access WC, changing rooms and a staff room. The works include the construction of an external temporary loading platform and the opening up and reinstatement of a soft spot in the external wall for the delivery of the MRI machine.
