Description
DEMA wishes to conclude a Framework Agreement that enables DEMA to be supplied with prefabricated houses/units necessary for specific missions. All deliveries must be made to DEMA's logistics center in Herning, Denmark. Lot 1: DEMA needs to be able to erect different configurations and combinations of prefabricated houses/units at short notice, typically in disaster-affected countries with relatively poor or wiped-out infrastructure. The anticipated response time when deploying DEMA's capacities is between 48 hours and 7 weeks. During the initial phase, tent-based solutions will typically be put up; these will continuously be replaced with prefabricated units if the assignment is foreseeably set to last for a lengthy period. A lengthy period is defined as an assignment lasting no less than 6 months. DEMA has a need for prefabricated houses/units for several types of missions: — a base camp concept which must be able to accommodate 60 people, with office, meeting/teaching facilities, bathroom/toilet, laundrette, kitchen and canteen (approx. 72 units of varying type and size), — reception centers (40 workplaces) for refugee camps, consisting of office, meeting/teaching facilities, and bathrooms/toilet facilities (approx. 40 units of varying type and size), — support functions for the Emergency Management Agency's Mobile Hospital concept, including stores for medicine, office, meeting/teaching facilities, as well as bathroom/toilet, laundrette, kitchen and canteen (approx. 20 units of varying type and size), — other types of missions including education and training (approx. 5-20 units of varying type and size). In order to accommodate a growing requirement from the UN, International Humanitarian Partnership (IHP) and other parties requesting prefabricated houses/units, DEMA wishes to conclude a Framework Agreement that enables DEMA to be supplied with any of the above requested houses/units-scenarios necessary for a specific mission within 45 days ex works at DEMA's logistics center in Herning, Denmark. The tender procedure is conducted by the Danish Emergency Management Agency (DEMA). DEMA is the Contracting Authority and conducts the tender on behalf of all contractors. DEMA and all other authorities under the Danish Ministry of Defense may award contracts on the Framework Agreement. Furthermore, all Municipal Fire and Rescue authorities listed in Appendix 4 have confirmed to use the agreement.
