Quick Quote for Works under 2m GBP - South Lanarkshire Council CCTV Infrastructure Upgrade Phase 2 - Installation Works for Cameras and Network Upgrade

The Council are seeking to appoint an appropriately qualified contractor for Phase 2 of South Lanarkshire Council's CCTV infrastructure upgrade. For Phase 2 the Council is prioritising an upgrade to the network element of the CCTV Infrastructure, which involves an improvement to the current solution through Wi-Fi and Fibre connectivity to enhance and secure the Council CCTV connections with the CCTV Control Room in Pollock Ave, Hamilton. Bidders are required to propose a upgraded network solution as part of their quotation including recurring costs for maintenance and the network solution e.g. circuit rental etc. This will be procured as a Quick Quote for Works under 2m GBP and governed by the JCT 2011 Design and Build Contract for use in Scotland DB/Scot (2011Edition) Funding by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/uk-shared-prosperity-fund-prospectus/uk-shared-prosperity-fund-prospectus Lot 1: The Invitation to Tender to was published as a Quick Quote for Work under 2m GBP under the governance of the Council's Standing Orders on Contracts. Prior to issuing the Invitation to Tender a Capacity and Capability email was sent to 56 identified NSI accredited contractors based in and around the Council's boundary to facilitate the involvement of local SMEs. Of the 56 invitations 17 contractors confirmed interest in participating in the Quick Quote for Works.
