Mobile Enforcement Camera for Vehicle

Description

Procurement of an unattended mobile solution provides an efficient, effective and economic way of solving these problems by utilising current technology and adopting a robust enforcement methodology. Enforcement will be undertaken using a Department for Transport (Welsh Government) approved device which will be installed into a new vehicle. The system will need to be operated by a single driver who will not interact with the system whilst it automatically enforces and captures evidence. The system will be required to capture both vehicle number plates and visual contravention evidence in an encrypted evidence pack.
