Dynamic Purchasing System for Alternative Education Provision

Following consultation with key stakeholders as part of the AP review WCF wish to strengthen the AP commissioning for registered and unregistered providers and to provide schools/settings with information regarding alternative provision available to support the children and young people of Worcestershire.WCF are therefore looking to implement a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) with two ‘lots’ for the following areas:• Lot 1 - Alternative Provision Providers (Registered and Un-registered Providers) • Lot 2 - Home tuition I Lot 1: Lot 1 - Alternative Provision Alternative Provision Providers (Registered and Un-registered Providers) When a child or young person is unable to attend school full time due to exclusion, medical difficulties or otherwise (Section 19)To support mainstream schools and academies to enable their children/young people to receive their education. To support Children Looked After (CLA) who are not on roll at a school/setting or those not accessing full time education to access learning. Lot 2: Lot 2 - Home Tuition Home tuition - suitable full-time education for permanently excluded child/young persons, and for other child/young persons who – because of illness or other reasons – would not receive suitable education without such provision
