Description

The Child Welfare Service in Askøy Municipality needs services from private suppliers in order to carry out various assignments in accordance with the Child Welfare Services Act. The Child Welfare Service has a separate family department that produces various means of support that are used in the work with each individual family. Examples of this can be environmental work in the home, family therapy, or different group offers. This procurement must cover the need for services/measures not undertaken by the contracting authority. The reason for the gross neglect can often be related to mental disorders, substance abuse, or violence. The children in question can express anger/aggression, also in the form of various relationship and communication difficulties. The work can be connected to children who live at home, children who have been moved to a foster home, and children (older than 18) who are about to establish themselves as independent adults.
