Provision of Animal Farm, Show, and Sale Inspection Services

Scotland’s Rural College (SRUC) has awarded a contract to HallMark Veterinary & Compliance Services Ltd for the provision of animal farm inspection services and inspection services at livestock shows and sales. The services support SRUC in ensuring compliance with relevant animal health and welfare standards, regulatory requirements, and recognised good practice within the livestock sector. Lot 1: The contract covers the provision of routine and ad-hoc farm inspections, as well as inspections of livestock shows and sales, to verify compliance with Premium Sheep & Goat Health Schemes (PSGHS) Scheme Rules and relevant animal-health legislation. Inspections will be undertaken across Scotland, England, and Wales in accordance with an annual PSGHS programme. The appointed supplier will deliver inspections using an approved methodology, produce timely and accurate inspection reports, maintain appropriate records and audit trails, and escalate any significant non-compliance or animal-health concerns to PSGHS where required. The contract has been awarded to a single supplier, HallMark Veterinary & Compliance Services Ltd, and will run for an initial period of three (3) years, with the option to extend for up to two (2) additional years, subject to satisfactory performance.
