Supply of JT-60SA Dummy Loads

Description

The scope of the contract consists of the detailed design, fabrication, test and delivery to Japan of 8 (4 + 4) dummy loads for the JT-60SA electron cyclotron transmission lines. Lot 1: Conditioning Dummy Loads Lot 1 consists of four dummy loads to be installed in the gyrotron hall with the double purpose of measuring the gyrotron power and routine conditioning of the gyrotrons. These loads shall be capable to operate with pulses up to 100 s. These loads will be referred to as conditioning loads. Lot 2: Bolometric Dummy Loads Lot 2 consists of four dummy loads to be installed in the tokamak hall with the purpose of measuring the power injected into the tokamak chamber These loads shall be capable to operate with pulses up to 1 s. These loads will be referred to as bolometric loads.
