Sports hall construction work

Description

Nærøy Municipality invites tenderers to an open tender contest for the procurement of an interaction contract for the construction of a swimming pool and sports centre at Kolvereid. The project includes engineering design services for and the construction of a sports centre with 2 sports halls, one basic hall and a swimming pool with training and learning pools. The project is to be implemented as an interaction contract. The project name is: Nærøysund Arena. A political decision was made on 16.12.2018 to construct a new sports centre and swimming pool with 2 handball pitches, each with an activity area of approx. 25 x 45 m, a medium-sized basic hall with an activity area of 25 x 30 m, and 2 swimming pools, one training pool of 25 x 12,5 m and one learning pool of 12,5 x 8,5 m in Kolvereid. The facility will replace the current Nærøyhallen, as well as the swimming pool and gymnastics hall, which will disappear when the old Kolvereid School is demolished. The halls are to be located at the current central sports facility, close to the primary and secondary schools in the centre of Kolvereid. The project will be carried out according to the interaction model, in which the contractor, with his organisation, architect, consultants, contractors and suppliers, will undertake all the required engineering design services in cooperation with the builder. In phase 1 the parties will cooperate in order to come up with a preliminary project for the work that can lead the project into phase 2. In phase 1 the parties are to prepare sufficient documentation so that the turnkey contractor is able to submit a fixed price for all the work that will be carried out in phase 2. In phase 2, the turnkey contractor will carry out all the detailed engineering design services and all the construction work that the parties clarified in phase 1.
