Framework agreement, glazing work

Description

The University of Bergen wants to enter framework agreement/s for the execution of glazing work, including material. Lot Område 3&4: Areas1&2 The objective of the call for tenders is to enter into framework agreements for glazing works, including material. The framework agreement will contribute to the Department of Properties being able to efficiently and rationally support management, operation, maintenance and development of the buildings, so that these are at all time facilitated for the University of Bergen's primary activities; research and education. The University of Bergen is constantly changing, and there is often a need for adaptation and reconstruction of buildings and premises in order to create the best possible physical conditions for the various entities. The assignments include various repairs, maintenance, and minor new building installations / constructions on the building stock that the university has at its disposal. The assignments often need to be carried out in a fast and efficient manner. The properties to which the agreement shall apply are used mainly for office, laboratory, teaching, library and museum purposes. Many of the buildings are worthy of preservation, of which approx. 30 buildings must be handled as listed for protection, see the attached building list. It will therefore be important for the contracting authority that the tenderer has good professional expertise in relation to challenges thereof.
