Internal audit

Description

The tenderer will carry out internal audits for the Directorate for eHealth. Lot 1: The assistance will contribute to more appropriate and efficient processes for performance management, risk management, and checks. The internal audit service is under, and reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer in the Directorate. The scope is described in the annual plan for internal audits. The internal audit must give advice and guidance for improvements. An audit plan must be prepared for each calendar year for all ongoing internal audit assignments for the year. The plan must include an overview of what audit assignments will be carried out during the year. The audit plan is to be prepared in consultation with the Directorate. The assistance includes: - Assistance in the preparation of audit plans - Carrying out confirmation assignments and/or consultancy assignments as agreed within the agreed time - Preparation of annual reports with the status of risk management, performance management, and checks in the Directorate - Other work within the discipline if needed and as agreed. The internal audit plan must, as a minimum, include: - An overview of audit areas/audits - Schedule for the different audits - A short description of the background for the audit, how the audit will be carried out, and the aim of the audit - Statement of what auditors will be used for the audits - Estimate of the number of hours for each audit After the audit plan has be approved by the management meeting, the tenderer will be obliged to carry out the audit in accordance with the plan.
