Description
Procurement of 1 electron microscope for the Pathology Department, with an option for a further 1 instrument. The instrument must be a top modern 120 kV TEM basic instrument with high contrast, stabile vacuum with high reliability, which is easy to operate and allows high volume diagnostics of ultra thin cross-sections from epoxy-cast biopsy material and virus material prepared with 'negative staining'. A high speed minimum 16 megapixel camera with easy and fast picture processing must be integrated in the microscope. STEM, EDS or tomography are not wanted; a compressor and water cooling unit are not to be included in the procurement.
