This is the ICT managed service tender for Sarah Bonnell School. The School requires a contract to undertake the ICT managed service in accordance with good practice so as to provide a high service standard throughout the school for the benefit of staff and pupils, the local community and any visitors to the site. Complete information regarding the service requirement at the School can be found via the tender documents, specifically at Appendix 7.1 — Statement of requirements. All key milestones are also detailed in the documentation. This is the tender process for the ICT managed service tender for Sarah Bonnell School. The school requires an ITIL or equivalent (e.g. FITS) based ICT managed service encompassing the following core functions: • strategic management and planning, • programme and project management, • project development works, • contract and relationship management, • network and infrastructure management, • network administration, • security management, • provision of service desk, • provision of on site staffing, • desktop support and maintenance, • problem resolution, • hardware fix (in conjunction with manufacturer warranty, etc.). This includes support of all legacy equipment: • software installation, configuration and management; • change management and implementation; • disaster recovery. TUPE is expected to apply and the relevant information is included in the tender documentation.
