Description

GMCA commissioned strategic advisory support to assess options for procuring and investing in renewable electricity generation through Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) and related commercial structures. The work reviewed future electricity demand, partner requirements, procurement models, and routes to market to support the decarbonisation of public sector electricity consumption and improve long-term price certainty. The outcome was a roadmap and supporting recommendations for developing scalable renewable electricity procurement arrangements across GMCA and its partner organisations.
