Alternative Provider Medical Services (APMS) The Mandeville Practice

Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Berkshire West Integrated Care Board (BOB ICB) is looking to re-procure the APMS contract for a maximum of fifteen (15) years for GP services to a 16,561 registered list of patients (as of 1st April 2025). It is expected that the contract holder will continue to build the registered list of patients; population growth in the area has an indicative growth of 5,000 to 10,000 in the fifteen (15) year maximum contract period. The provider will occupy the new health centre building proposed on the Hampden Fields development as an additional site, if and when available. The APMS baseline price will be the GMS price. The 2025/26 GMS price is £116.01 per weighted patient (weighted list size being 14,639 as at 01/04/25) once out of hours deduction is applied. This exercise is being carried out by NHS South, Central and West Commissioning Support Unit (SCW) on behalf of the Commissioner. Lot 1: NHS Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Berkshire West Integrated Care Board (BOB ICB) are seeking to secure a prime provider who has the capability and capacity to deliver an APMS service, in line with the specified requirements. The contract duration is eight (8) years, with the option to extend to a further four (4) years, and again to a further three (3) years, making this a maximum contract length of fifteen (15) years in total. The service commencement date is 1st April 2026. The premises are situated in the Mandeville Practice, Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, HP21 8TR. TUPE will apply to the transfer of the Contract from the incumbent provider to the incoming provider and this information will be supplied to Bidders on request. Total value of the contract is £25,523,464 including VAT for the full 15-year period.
