Description

Statsbygg [the Directorate of Public Construction and Property] requests, in connection with project: No.: 1146602 Name: National Theatre renovation, Tenders for K201 turnkey partnering contract. The Ministry of Culture has given the Directorate of Public Construction and Property the task of preparing a preliminary project for the renovation of the National Theatre. The National Theatre's main building was erected in 1899 in Studenterlunden in Oslo. The building was listed for protection in 1983. There is a need to renovate and upgrade the building's conditions and technical installations at the National Theatre. The project is now carrying out a draft project with the engineering design group (Sweco Norge AS and Ratio Arkitekter AS and sub-consultants). The engineering design group will be transferred to the turnkey contractor at the start of the preliminary project. The turnkey contractor will be responsible for the preparation of the preliminary project, and for the implementation of partnering phase 1, with a start-up at the beginning of April 2020. Continuation of the project to partnering phase 2, with the detailed engineering design services and construction, depends on the Norwegian Parliament granting sufficient resources.
