Fresh Start Accommodation and Support Service

Description

The Council has sought a provider for 'Fresh Start', which is a project to provide 8 units of self-contained emergency accommodation for residents with complex needs/ mental health, who have repeatedly failed in previous accommodation placements. Residents will receive intensive support in the short term through a person-centred and trauma-informed approach, ensuring the service user is provided opportunities to access assessment, support, and treatment from relevant services. Residents are to be supported until they can move into move-on accommodation; be that their own independent accommodation or other step-down supported accommodation identified as being able to meet the needs of the residents.
