Description

Due to breakage in propulsion thrust block of MRV Scotia, tugs were designated to patrol the vessel across the harbour into dry dock in Aberdeen harbour for safety reasons. MRV Scotia thrust power block was broken. Aberdeen harbour board stipulated that any movement by the vessel had to be done so by tugs shadowing the vessel in case it got into trouble. Two tugs were hired to accompany the vessel to dry dock at the other side of Aberdeen harbour for where it is currently berthed.
