Description

Lot 1: Provision of external audit services for the EirGrid Group. The Scope of Requirements is expected to include, but is not limited to the external financial audit of the following: • EirGrid plc • EirGrid UK Holdings Limited • SONI Limited • EirGrid Interconnector DAC • EirGrid Telecoms DAC • EirGrid Celtic Interconnector DAC • SEMO Joint Ventures (SEMO Market Operator, SEMOpx and Capacity Market Code) • SONI Limited regulated accounts EirGrid’s consolidated financial statements are prepared in accordance with IFRS and the parent and subsidiaries financial statements are prepared in accordance with FRS101. Additional Services The Scope of Requirements shall also include any additional similar services required or other relevant audits, which may arise during the term of this contract, and which would not be feasible or appropriate to award to another audit firm. Examples include PSO Levy audits & grant audits. Excluded from Scope The Market Audit is a separate audit as arranged by both Regulatory Authorities and is outside the scope of this tender.
