Winter Maintenance Service 2025-2027

Description

Lot 1 - Tractor and gritter routes in the Eden and South Lakeland area (£0.528m per annum) Provision of tractor and driver to carry out gritting services to specific winter routes using either the suppliers own gritter or a Council provided gritter. Lot 2 - Gritter driver and mate support (£0.120m per annum) Provision of drivers on an ad-hoc basis to drive Council Gritting vehicles. Lot 3 - Additional Winter Maintenance Resources (£0.072m per annum) Provision of operated plan and equipment to carry out snow clearance works. Service Providers can bid for any one or more of the lots and routes as they wish. Where contractors bid for more than one route, they may be asked to provide evidence that they have the resources to deliver all the routes bid for. Suppliers may be restricted to the number Lots/routes they are accepted onto based on their capacity (on the basis of the information provided in technical questions 5-8).
