Description
The IPS service is for adults with mental health needs and adults who have vocational needs or aspirations to gain employment. The target group for these services are for adults with mental health needs, those who are receiving support through secondary mental health services or have a diagnosed Severe Mental Health Illness. Lot 1: In the near future, SNEE ICB intend to release to the market an opportunity to deliver the Suffolk Individual Placement and Support for Severe Mental Health Illness. Prior to this the ICB would like to understand the level of interest in the market and responses to the questions posed below. The Suffolk IPS SMI Service has a budget of £868,948 per annum and the Core deliverables for the service as aligned to the NHS Long Term Plan and the SNEE Joint Forward Plan are below. - Achievement of the yearly IPS Access target - Job Retention cases not to exceed 25% of the caseload (SMI individuals only) - Job Outcomes to be 40% (for unemployed/IPS access individuals) - Achieve IPS Fidelity of Good - Oversight of IPS National Target - Increasing access to dedicated employment support for those with Severe Mental Illness - Increasing sustainable employment outcomes for those with Severe Mental Illness - Decreasing time spent in hospital, hospital admissions and relapse. - Building relationship with employers The indicative activity is a cohort of around 727 IPS referrals per year. We are interested to hear from providers about their good practice and approaches to this service. We are particularly interested to hear from you regarding. • Does your organisation envisage any risks to delivery in respect of the outline above? • What best practice and innovation are you currently involved in for this service in other localities? • How you practically manage and support prioritisation of patients when required. • How will you ensure that you build relationships with employers to drive client employment outcomes If you could send responses in respect of the questions above to procurement@snee.nhs.uk by 17:00 on the 27th May 2025.
