Description
This Request for Tender (RFT) seeks to set up a single supplier Framework Agreement to engage the services of embedded project manager to provide, when required, project management services to Cork Institute of Technology [CIT]. The projects will be identified as they arise and the appointed Contractor make the nominated project manager available to fulfil a central role in supporting the Institute with the implementation and management of the identified building projects, refurbishment works and ongoing management of PPP contracts. This Request for Tender (RFT) seeks to set up a single supplier Framework Agreement to engage the services of embedded project manager to provide, when required, project management services to Cork Institute of Technology [CIT]. The projects will be identified as they arise and the appointed Contractor make the nominated project manager available to fulfil a central role in supporting the Institute with the implementation and management of the identified building projects, refurbishment works and ongoing management of PPP contracts. The nominated project manager will liaise closely with the Institute's Buildings and Estates team for projects. The nature of the requirement under this tender is such that a) The identified support will be required on-site for agreed period(s) of time as needed to support each individual project; b) It is envisaged that during a period of project management support the nominated project manager will be working in situ at the Bishopstown Campus for a minimum of three (3) days on average per week; however, depending upon the demands of the projects, at times the number of days on site could vary from one (1) to five (5) days in any given week. Upon appointment, and annually thereafter, CIT's Management shall liaise with the appointed Contractor to discuss the Institute's programme of work so that the Contractor and its nominated project manager can plan and manage their diaries efficiently. The Framework Agreement will be for an initial period of 2 years with provision for a maximum of 2 (two) 12-month extension.
