Description

The Council requires access to timely, independent, RICS-accredited valuation and related advisory services to support Housing Revenue Account (HRA) activity including acquisitions, disposals, lease negotiations, estate regeneration support and Right to Buy (RtB) valuations. In considering the most appropriate route to market, a range of delivery models were assessed against compliance, capacity, value for money, resilience and service quality To comply with the Council’s Constitution and the Local Government Act 1972, Section 123, and to ensure best consideration and value for money, valuations must be undertaken by a suitably qualified individual accredited by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). Housing seeking to undertake a procurement exercise to appoint to two contracts, potentially two RICS-accredited providers. These suppliers will act on behalf of the Council or Wolverhampton Homes on behalf of the council to deliver timely, cost-effective valuation services in full compliance with procurement regulations.
