Lift Upgrade at Parker Place Sheltered Housing

Description

The Council require to appoint a suitable contractor for the upgrading of a traction passenger lift along with associated builders and electrical works at Parker Place Sheltered Housing. The works are required as the current lift in the building is coming to the end of its useful life and has been identified as needing upgraded to improve functionality, meet new regulatory standards, and improve the lifts life expectancy. In order to secure best value for the Council, the Procurement Service identified a suitable DPS as follows: DPS: Procurement for Housing Compliance Services & Associated Works DPS OJEU Reference Number: 2018/S 245-561238 Lot: 12, Lift Installation Period: 20th December 2018 to 19th December 2023 (with option to extend for a further 60 months) This contracted was awarded based on MEAT
