Provision of Audit Services for European Parliament Crèches: Crèche Wayenberg in Brussels, Belgium (Lot 1) and Crèche CPE 5 in Bertrange-Mamer, Luxembourg (Lot 2)

In accordance with the provisions of Regulation (EU, Euratom) No 1046/2018 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 18 July 2018 on the financial rules applicable to the general budget of the European Union, the European Parliament has decided to issue this invitation to tender with a view to sign a service contract for audit services related to management of European Parliament’s crèches in Brussels (Wayenberg crèche) (lot 1) and Luxembourg (CPE crèche 5 in Bertrange-Mamer) (lot 2). Lot 1: Audit Services Related to Management of European Parliament’s Crèches in Brussels (Wayenberg Crèche) The European Parliament’s Working Time and Childcare Facilities Unit currently runs two externally managed crèches: one in Brussels (Wayenberg crèche), the other in Luxembourg (CPE 5 crèche in Bertrange-Mamer). The Wayenberg crèche is managed by a service provider under a yearly contract; it has been running since February 2022 and is tacitly renewed on an annual basis, but its total duration cannot exceed 5 consecutive years from its entry into force. Under the terms of this contract, the European Parliament reserved the right to check the financial statements, compliance with contractual provisions and sound financial management of the management of the Wayenberg crèche (lot 1). Lot 2: Audit Services Related to Management of European Parliament’s Crèches in Luxembourg (CPE5 Crèche) The European Parliament’s Working Time and Childcare Facilities Unit currently runs two externally managed crèches: one in Brussels (Wayenberg crèche), the other in Luxembourg (CPE 5 crèche in Bertrange-Mamer). The CPE 5 crèche is managed by a service provider under a yearly contract; it has been running since September 2021 and is tacitly renewed on an annual basis, but its total duration cannot exceed 5 consecutive years from its entry into force.
