Description

The council has a number of current and future properties that need to be sold or let to tenants. We will regularly need to instruct professional outside agency assistance to ensure a fast, efficient and cost-effective way of achieving a best value sale or letting. The Council is planning to procure a single commercial estate agent on a call off contract. Instructions will be on an ad hoc basis initially over a period of two years. There will be an option, at the Council’s sole discretion, to extend for a further two years. The initial list of properties to be sold totals an estimated value of £3.4m, and initial lettings have an annual rental value of £300,000.
