Provision for Lee Valley VeloPark Rooflights Refurbishment

Description

Lee Valley Regional Park Authority has a requirement at Lee Valley VeloPark, Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, Abercrombie Road, London, E20 3AB for the refurbishment of existing rooflights to the main roof structure. The roof construction is a unique design featuring prefabricated cassettes fitted together over a cable net structure below. The roof has the ability to flex and move in different weather scenarios. The roof comprises 8no. rows of rooflights stretching from East to West and is now some 16 years old, and as such some of the rooflights are beginning to allow water ingress through the gaskets. The glazing to the rooflights appears to be intact and the problems lie with the pressure gaskets.
