Framework agreement for pupil PCs for sixth form colleges in Troms and Finnmark County

Troms and Finnmark County, c/o the Division for Competence, hereafter known as the contracting authority, intends to enter into a framework agreement for the delivery of computers for pupils in sixth form education. The PC scheme involves first year pupils in sixth form education in public sixth form colleges in Troms and Finnmark being able to choose whether they will buy a computer at a subsidised price or use their own computer. Lot 1: Troms County has had a scheme since 2018 with voluntary pupil PCs based on BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) and a pupil PC scheme where the pupils own their computers and have consumer rights. After Trom and Finnmark Counties were merged, the County Government decided to continue this scheme in the merged county. Laptop computers are still obligatory for all pupils in the county's sixth form colleges. Troms og Finnmark County would like to give pupils the offer of four different computers in the school year 2023/2024. One Windows based basic model, one Windows based more powerful model, as well as a MacOs based basic model, and a MacOs based more powerful model.
