Supply of Content Writing for the Marine Institute’s Annual Report and Year in Review Report

The Marine Institute, a semi State body, wishes to invite tenders for the supply of Content Writing and Project Management for the Annual Report and Year in Review publication for a period of 3 years. Comprising in two parts, details for each report are as follows: Annual Report: The Marine Institute’s Annual Report is produced each year and is submitted to the applicable government bodies in English and Irish. Requirements for the Annual report include: Liaising with various content providers to ensure copy is provided within the deadlines, seek clarifications or additional content where required. Consolidate content in the correct format for internal review and designer. Prepare the draft material in line with timelines agreed for review by CEO/Senior Leadership Team and Board (See attached timeline – Annex 2).Compiling, editing and proof checking content and design proofs. Liaising with Marine Institute Communications Team on the selection of relevant photographs for inclusion. Work with the designer (procured through the Marine Institute) to complete the design of the English report to meet the necessary deadlines. Incorporate all edits required and provide final designed report for submission to DAFM by the agreed deadline. A Year in Review: Develop a short, highly visual publication to promote the work of the Marine Institute each year with publication in Q1 of the following year. The report highlights the achievements of the Marine Institute over the previous year and is aimed at a more general audience. From information gathered for the creation of the Annual Report and material provided by the Senior Leadership Team, create a Year in Review publication that highlights the key achievements by the Marine Institute annually. Develop a project timeline which will include deadlines for design and internal review. Liaise with Senior Leadership Team on content. Liaise with Marine Institute Communications Team on selection of relevant photographs for inclusion.
