Description

Mid and East Antrim Borough Council (MEABC) seeks to appoint a suitably qualified organisation/consortium/individual(s) to supply and deliver the Women’s Programme, (part of the PEACEPLUS Local Action Plan) as detailed within this specification. The Women's Programme aims to bring women from a variety of communities, backgrounds and experiences together to build relationships, increase confidence and develop personal and practical skills. Through a co-designed approach, participants will help shape activities that reflect their interests, priorities and lived experiences. The programme will promote peace and reconciliation by creating opportunities for meaningful cross-community engagement, supporting women to develop stronger social connections, participate in wider community networks and build understanding across different identities and backgrounds. Activities may include confidence building, personal development, mentoring, wellbeing initiatives, networking opportunities and skills development workshops.
