Dear Sir/Madam, Welthungerhilfe is one of the largest Non-Governmental Organizations of German origin and it was founded as the National Committee for the Freedom from Hunger Campaign of the Food and Agricultural Organization of the United Nations (FAO) in 1962 as a non-profit, non-political and non-denominational organization. Currently, Welthungerhilfe has operations in about 38 countries worldwide in Africa, Asia, and Latin America. Welthungerhilfe (WHH) is registered with the Government of Sudan as a foreign voluntary organization since June 1998 and is currently operational in North Darfur, Kassala, Red Sea and Gedaref state. WHH has been operating in North Darfur, Sudan since 2004 implementing humanitarian assistance projects as well as developmental projects with its country office located in Khartoum. WHH receives its funding from the Federal German Government, the European Union, USAID/OFDA, the United Nations and many other globally recognized donors. Welthungerhilfe is implementing a project internally coded SDN 1250 Therefore, Welthungerhilfe is currently seeking a reliable, competent, and reputable company with adequate capacity for Supply and installation of water pumps and complete solar power systems For Um Gargour Camp and Karkoura for agricultural irrigation, within the scope of this project and stated time. To implement the planned activities Welthungerhilfe is inviting tenderers to submit a bid for the following contracts: • Supply and installation of water pumps and complete solar power systems for Um Gargour Camp and Karkoura for agricultural irrigation.
