RFT No. DE/08/22 Supply, installation and maintenance of Electric Vehicle charge points and associated services at McKee Barracks, Irish Defence Forces 1. As the uptake of electric vehicles (EV) in Ireland and across Europe increases significantly, the demand for Electric Vehicle (EV) charging services is also intensifying. 2. In this regard the Defence Forces has a requirement for the installation of an EV charging network and associated open protocol management services in McKee Military Barracks. Details and extent are provided in the attached tender documents. 3. There will be a requirement to install nine (9) AC charging points with an additional one (1) DC FAST charging facility in McKee Barracks, Blackhorse Ave, Dublin 7. 4. Nine (9) EV charge pedestals will have 22 kW AC dual output and one (1) 50 kW DC single output. 5. The Defence Forces is seeking to install a pilot project in order to establish a comprehensive, reliable and interoperable electric vehicle charging infrastructure in McKee Barracks to accommodate its increasing electric vehicle fleet.
