Negotiated Contract for Accommodation and Support for Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Children

South Lanarkshire Council have a requirement to undertake a Negotiated Procedure under Standing Order 9 of the Council's Standing Orders on Contracts for the provision of Accommodation and Support for Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Children. The award of this contract under the Negotiated Tendering Procedure can be justified under Standing Order 9.3.1 and 10.4 of the Council’s Standing Orders on Contracts for the following reasons:- Standing Order 9.3.1b The works, services or supplies can be supplied by only one suitable contractor because competition is absent for technical reasons and the absence of competition is not the result of an artificial narrowing down of the parameters of the procurement and Standing Order 10.4a (i) In the opinion of the Executive Director the needs of the individual(s) concerned would be best met by a particular Provider The contract term will be from 01 April 2026 – 31 March 2029, with the option to extend for a further 3 years.
