Framework agreement for the procurement of interpretation services

Description

The aim of the procurement is to procure qualifiedi interpreters so that the entity can also provide its statutory services for the part of the population that does not understand sufficient Norwegian. The interpretation will be to/from Norwegian and a foreign language. The municipalities' need for interpretation services is dynamic, and is governed, amongst other things, by how many refugees the municipalities receive at any one time. In addition the remaining immigrants in municipalities are not constantly within the languages, but come often in waves. This means that the requested languages at any given time can vary. Lot 1: The contracting authority would like to use this contest to enter into a contract for the delivery of interpretation services within the following categories: - Turn-out interpreters - Remote interpretation (monitor interpretation and telephone interpretation) - Written translations The contracting authority reserves the right to use its own interpreters when they are available in its organisation. The procurement will include all service areas in the municipalities, but the majority of the assignments will be in health, schools, the child welfare service, the refugee service, and NAV. The aim is to enter into parallel framework agreements with 3-5 tenderers in accordance with the waterfall method, i.e., the tenderer with the best ranking result will be asked first. The agreement period is 2 years with an option for 1 +1 year extension.
