Leicester Children and Young People's Health and Wellbeing Survey 2025/26

Leicester City Council wishes to commission a Leicester Children and Young People's Health and Wellbeing Survey 2025/26 (the ‘Service’). The design, execution and reporting of a children and young people’s health and wellbeing survey. The survey will provide a high quality cross-sectional snapshot of health and wellbeing beliefs, behaviours and experiences among 10-16 year olds in Leicester. The themes and presentational style of the survey will be in line with previous local surveys.The survey shall be of children aged 10 to 16 years attending schools in the Leicester local authority area. Targeting the academic year groups six (10 to 11 year olds), eight (12 to 13 year olds) and ten (14 to 15 year olds) in Leicester primary, secondary, and special schools. Questions will be primarily focused on health and wellbeing themes, including the wider determinants of health, with some additional questions on issues of contemporary relevance.
