Description
A new path section, 467m, will be constructed to 2.5m width along an old railway track bed east of Aboyne. Lot 1: A new path section, 467m, will be constructed to 2.5m width using, where applicable, the Cellweb product to protect tree roots. A feature of the work will be a 139m long, 300mm high, aggregate causeway constructed of 4” base material and sub-base type 1, finished with top dust. Associated with the causeway will be 400mm deep, 600mm wide ditch to capture field drainage from an adjacent field to the south exiting via a 225mm twin walled plastic piped culvert to the east of the causeway. For landscaping imported top soil will be used to landscape amongst the edge trees, however in the open section localised material will be used to landscape the path edges.. There will be no pre-tender site visit for this contract.
