Supply of New Rigid Inflatable Boat (RIB) for Waterways Ireland

Description

Waterways Ireland seeks to procure a multi-purpose Rigid Inflatable Boat (RIB) that will fulfil the following Vessel Operational Profile Navigation Inspections and Surveys - 75 percent Dignitary Trips, Wildlife Expert Transport - 20 percent Vessel to vessel relocation by way of towing - 5 percent The primary function of the RIB is Inspectorate patrolling of Lower and Upper Lough Erne, for the Waterways Ireland Inspectorate Warden based on the Erne Navigation in Enniskillen. The core design requirement is for a vessel that meets the award criteria and complies with the UK Maritime Coastguard Agency’s (MCA) Workboat Code, Edition 3. The supplier of the RIB will be responsible for ensuring that the vessel is compliant with UK Maritime Coastguard Agency’s Workboat Code, Edition 3 design, construction, equipment, and operational requirements for this vessel type at the time of delivery.
