TR3901 ESB Remote Monitoring

Description

For on-site Security, ESB utilise a remote monitoring service provided by a licenced vendor who are responsible for using CCTV to protect sites and monitor Intruder Alarms, Fire Alarms and Gate opening. This service is utilised by various ESB business units using frameworks and contracts tailored to their individual requirements. ES Facilities Management (FM) also manage a framework for soft services which provides a remote monitoring service for approximately 65 locations across business units. A decision has been made to tender for a single provider framework to provide the service. Amalgamating the requirements will facilitate other business units onboarding as their existing agreements expire obtaining the best possible offering from the market providing the advantages below: • Superior, focused contract management • Stronger governance • Managing Cyber Risk • KPI Performance • Streamlined end to end service for clients • Best value for money service This contract will be for a 3-year term with option to extend for up to a further 2 years (3+1+1). Compared to current standards our legacy equipment and method of operation are significantly outdated. To maintain compliance with NIS2 and CER directives ESB must ensure to procure a best-in-class service provider who will pro-actively protect ESB sites. Note - It is expected that ESB will receive any technical advancements such as innovative solutions/new technology throughout the lifecycle of the contract.
