Description

A water treatment facility is to be installed for tap water in municipal health buildings in Trondheim Municipality. The scope is given in the tender documentation. The contract also includes service of the installations. A water treatment facility is to be installed for tap water in municipal health buildings in Trondheim Municipality. The purpose is to: — prevent and hinder outbreaks of legionella and reduce/remove biofilm in pipes, — ensure compliance with authority requirements on legionella protection, — free up operational work hours as chlorinating of shower heads and heat treatment of the pipe network will not be required, — reduce energy consumption by it being possible to lower the temperature of the water heater and pipeline network for hot tap water to 50 degrees C if wanted. Offered installations must fulfil these requirements. Parallel to this, the installations must not have hazardous substances, contribute to the odour, taste or colour of the tap water. The offered installations must comply with all the authority requirements for safe drinking water quality. The authority requirements for emissions of sewage water must also be fulfilled.
