Description

This is an exciting opportunity for the successful vendor to shape a firework event on the Lower Don Valley Grass Bowl in the month of November. The Councils vision is to encourage the people of Sheffield to attend and attract visitors from outside the region to the city and increase Sheffield’s profile This Request for Quotations (RFQ) is not issued under the Procurement Act 2023 and does not constitute a public contract or concession contract for the purposes of that Act. The Council is not procuring any goods, services, or works. Instead, the Council intends to grant a licence to occupy and use Council land to deliver a commercially operated event. Providers will pay the Council a licence or hire fee for this right. The competitive process is undertaken solely to ensure fairness, transparency, and best value in selecting a provider. It is a discretionary commercial process, and procurement rules and remedies do not apply.
