Which phase the project is in Not started Existing team The existing team consists of a Web Systems Manager and a Digital Comms Advisor within LGA, they are supported by external consultants. Address where the work will be done Mainly remote with occasionally pre-agreed meetings in Westminster. Working arrangements LGA Head Office is in Westminster, London. Onsite workshops would be necessary at key points in the project e.g., analysis, roll out etc. However, this will be limited to remain cost efficient, therefore the selected provider must be comfortable conducting most of the implementation virtually. All travel and substance will require prior approval. Online working hours must be between the hours of 8am - 5pm but flexibility is required to support the evolving nature of digital project work. A modern LGA’s public website, a clear usable public facing website with a compelling proposition for new users, with easy navigation, up to date and relevant content and messages to make it easier for all persona groups to use. 2. MyLGA Portal, the creation of a new ‘MyLGA’ Portal, will provide rich, secure and personalised experience for authenticated users. This will be a standalone multi-modal portal, accessed via a standard login that can be used across all LGA secure digital applications. The Portal will enable Members to quickly discover new services or content to help them with their next challenge. Once the MVP is fully embedded, the LGA can begin to integrate current and future experiences iteratively into the Portal, this brings together the first steps of new journeys 3. The Website and portal will integrate with other systems including the Member Platform – MS Dynamics 365 Support & Maintenance A support and maintenance service for regular support and update requirements, that may include urgent and mission critical work as required for a website with a high traffic load and with a guaranteed fast response time. We see this service being used to: 1. Help turn around short deadline items, 2. Follow ups and 3. Offer user support to questions and queries. Where the supplied staff will work London Where the supplied staff will work No specific location (for example they can work remotely) Why the work is being done LGA has several websites, accessed by different customer members. providing individual functionality sets, these websites require consolidation into a singular, refreshed website, providing functionality based on modern day expectations and best of breed design standards. The business problem you need to solve LGA websites are accessed by current and prospective LGA customer, the multiple websites maintained by the LGA were identified as an area during a DDaT review that required specific focus as the 'front door' to LGA services requiring improvement. Coupled with the complexity of supporting multiple websites making scalability and maintenance very difficult. First user type: As an LGA customer I want the ability to see the services that are available to my specific user account, so that I can access them via a website. First user type: As a prospective LGA customer I want the ability to see the services that are on offer via the LGA and have the ability to create my own account, so that I can see the service that are on offer. First user type: As an LGA team member I want the ability to maintain the content on the website, so that I can ensure all content is up-to-date.
