Description

The Heart of England NHS Foundation Trust has a requirement to procure a point of care testing service covering the services identified in the various Lots 1 to 9. The Trust's aim is to procure the Point of care testing services under a Managed Service for a term of 7 years with an option for the Trust to extend the term by a further 2 years. The Point of Care Team within Pathology at Heart of England NHS Foundation Trust will be the Trust interface with the Managed Service Contract provider. A key aim of this procurement is for all Point of care testing service equipment to be standardised and rationalised (with a range relevant to each Lot) across the Trust to ensure we have consistency and continuity of service, clear audit accountability, ongoing training of staff and complete transparency. The Point of care testing service equipment must also to be networked.
