Description
EOECPH is seeking experienced, proven, innovative and agile providers as our framework partners to deliver non-urgent patient transportation and specialist courier services which meet current and future regulatory and legislative standards for both the materials being transported and the vehicle/fleet element of the services, assisting Beneficiaries achieve and deliver against their requirements and obligations as well as providing value for money services with best service outcomes. EOECPH is looking to partner with Service Providers who can deliver the required services not only on a national and regional level but those who are able to facilitate deliveries to a sub-regional level to Health Care facilities including but not limited to Acute Hospitals and Mental Health and Community Care providers. As such we welcome bids from SMEs who can deliver regionally and across the evolving platform of localised regions and cohorts based on the current Sustainability and Transformation Partnership regions (STP), but who may not be able to deliver nationwide services at this time. The NHS has a national ambition to improve its carbon footprint and has pledged to NHS Net Zero (https://www.england.nhs.uk/greenernhs/a-net-zero-nhs/) as well exploring other sustainability initiatives, we are striving to reduce the impact our services and supply chain have, and such sustainability, greener delivery and vehicle solutions are welcomed as part of this framework. Services providers awarded to the Framework will need to be able to offer tailored specialist courier services, with both regular route and ad-hoc requirements ensuring any developing requirements during the lifetime of the framework are captured and met. EoECPH is mindful of the work being undertaken by the Government in regards to our carbon footprint, the framework is intended to have a holistic approach to these elements and will be set against NHS England and NHS Improvement recommendations wherever possible.
