Description
UKROEd Ltd wishes to commission a research organisation to undertake an evaluation of 7 National Driver Offender Retraining Scheme courses. The evaluation should identify if course(s) result in a change in the target behaviour; if any change is maintained beyond the period of the course; which psychological constructs, behaviour change techniques, and other factors (for example trainer characteristics) appear to impact on outcomes; what barriers to changing behaviour do clients experience; and how course(s) can be improved. It is intended that the contract will be awarded initially for a three-year period. The first year will involve developing the methods and data collection materials to be used and commencing data collection. The second year will be a full evaluation of each course, and the third year a targeted evaluation focusing on any findings from Year 2 that require further exploration.
